Usha Vance continues to showcase her passion for fashion. The lawyer has been making headlines since stepping into the spotlight during the recent inaugural events as part of Donald Trump's presidency. After wearing elegant designs by Oscar de la Renta, the Second Lady decided to wear a sapphire dégradé gown at the Commander-in-Chief Ball.
Walking hand in hand, Usha and JD Vance entered the inaugural ball smiling at the crowd and looking happier than ever after the inauguration. The Second Lady decided to wear an evening gown from Lebanese designer Reem Acra.
Usha also joined her husband, JD Vance, on the dancefloor with Melania and Donald Trump during the event. The elegant strapless design featured intricate paillette embroidery and delicate Chantilly lace. She paired the look with minimal jewelry and styled her hair in a side-parted hairdo.
“This stunning linear sapphire dégradé gown features intricate paillette embroidery and a delicate Chantilly lace underlay, perfectly blending timeless sophistication with modern allure,” the Lebanese fashion designer detailed on Instagram. "A true vision of grace and style on this monumental evening."
Online users praised the design and declared it looked perfect on the Second Lady. "This dress is perfection on her," one person wrote, while someone else commented, "Wow! She looks simply fabulous!!" adding, "I loved her ‘always smiling’ face."
Earlier during the day, Usha received a lot of online attention after arriving at the inauguration in an all-pink look, with many commenting on the fun yet stylish ensemble.
She chose an Oscar de la Renta cashmere pale pink coat for the occasion, paired with a matching scarf and tan gloves. The tea-length coat also featured a belt in the same color. Usha completed the ensemble with a pair of Manolo Blahnik Lina Boots and statement rings.
