Kaia recently made headlines for her split from 'Elvis' star Austin Butler. "The relationship just simply ran its course after a good 3 years together," TMZ reported, detailing that they remain amicable despite the split. Kaia spent New Year's Eve with her inner circle in Cabo San Lucas.
The model has been spending her time in New York City. Most recently, she was photographed wearing a chic athleisure look as she headed to the gym. Kaia was prepared for her workout session, stepping out in a pair of high-waisted black leggings paired with a cropped navy blue hoodie.

It seems the actress is ready for a fresh start and new roles, apart from her modeling gigs. Despite the split, the former couple are on good terms. However, a source revealed to the Daily Mail what could have been the reason for the separation.
"What really sealed the deal about the break up is the talk Kaia’s parents had with Austin about his relationship with their daughter," the source told the publication. "He didn’t appreciate the fact they butted into their relationship. It rubbed Austin up the wrong way."
"Kaia’s putting on a brave face in public over the breakup but the truth is she’s upset," another insider detailed. "She’s partly blaming her parents for the talk they had with Austin telling him he could be wasting the best years of Kaia’s life because he wasn’t making a solid commitment."
