Adriana Paz made her mark on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with a showstopping look that perfectly blended sensuality and sophistication. Known for her compelling performance as Epifanía in the award-winning film "Emilia Perez, Paz is quickly becoming a star to watch, and her style choices at this year's awards ceremony solidified her place as a rising fashion icon.

Paz chose a stunning black dress created by Mexican designer Neithan Herbert for her grand Golden Globes debut. The design featured a Bardot neckline with elegant draped details and sheer accents on the arms, exuding timeless elegance and modern allure. The meticulous craftsmanship of the gown highlighted Herbert's skill and cultural pride, making it a standout piece of the evening.

To complete her look, Paz opted for a retro-inspired hairstyle: a sleek bob with soft waves that echoed the glamour of old Hollywood. This classic choice complemented the neckline of her gown beautifully, adding a touch of vintage sophistication. Her minimalist makeup, featuring nude tones and subtle eyeliner, allowed her natural beauty to shine, emphasizing her striking features without overpowering the ensemble.

As the only Mexico-born actress in "Emilia Perez," her presence was a proud moment for her home country. Her performance as Epifanía has already earned her critical acclaim, and her red-carpet debut now signals that she is equally poised to make waves in fashion.

The designer himself, Neithan Herbert, took to Instagram to share his excitement about the collaboration, calling it a deeply meaningful experience. "History was made today. @emiliaperezfilm shined at the Golden Globes, and I couldn't be more proud to have accompanied @adytapaz in this very special moment. Dressing her in this creation was a journey full of emotions and meaning, from the first fittings to the red carpet it felt like a tribute to Epifanía,'" he wrote.

Herbert also thanked his team in Mexico and Los Angeles for their dedication in bringing the gown to life. "None of this would be possible without my team at home in Mexico... and special thanks to my new team members for helping finish the last details of this creation in LA," he added, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the design.

Adriana Paz's Inspiring Journey to Hollywood

Paz, winner of three Ariel awards, a Goya nomination, and the Best Actress award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for "Emilia Pérez," Adriana has firmly established herself as an international star, now at the peak of success. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jacques Audiard, the film marks a career-defining triumph. Reflecting on her journey, Adriana proudly celebrates choosing her true calling—art—over a more conventional path in engineering or business.

During an exclusive interview with HOLA! Paz said that while some have followed her career, she also knows there are more people who are yet to know more about her. "I have a long career in Mexico, and while many people have recognized and valued my work, there are others who didn't even know I existed. That's just how it is," she told our publication. "Cannes is such a prestigious festival; it's impossible to ignore. Even the director of my son's school reached out to say, 'I just found out—congratulations!'" she said.

"This recognition has given me greater exposure. People now approach me to learn more about my work and ask where they can watch my other films. There's been so much interest, and it's incredible. I'm receiving an outpouring of love and support, especially from my people, and it means the world to me," the star added.

During the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, Paz joined her castmates onstage to receive Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy and Best non-English Language Film awards. Paz also celebrated when co-star Zoe Saldaña took home the Best Supporting Actress award and rejoiced when the movie's song "El Mal" won Best Original Song.
