Lauren Sanchez had a 'Pretty Woman' moment at Katy Perry's 40th birthday party in Geneva, Switzerland. The media personality and the singer have become fast friends, going on multiple outings and adventures this year, so it was only natural that Lauren was in attendance at the glamorous event.
The birthday bash took place at the Ritz Carlton in Geneva, with Katy's closest friends joining her for an over-the-top celebration. Lauren attended the party with her romantic partner, Jeff Bezos, by her side.
Lauren's hairstylist Pete Burkill shared a photo of her stunning look for the special night. The former journalist posed in a bright red strapless gown by Balenciaga featuring a cinched waist and a dramatic train. She paired the look with black opera gloves, statement diamond jewelry, and matching diamond earrings.
Lauren rocked an old Hollywood hairstyle and a glamorous makeup look including a soft pink lip. Meanwhile, Katy wore a dress in a darker shade of red, also pairing the look with black opera gloves, diamond jewelry, and a dramatic makeup look.
Before the celebration Lauren documented her time in Europe, sharing a photo from a boat in Venice to her Instagram Stories. Lauren and Katy have previously gone sky diving, with the singer's husband, Orland Bloom, also present.
The two friends also traveled earlier this year with Bloom and Bezos, and many of their celebrity friends. They were photographed enjoying different locations, including Croatia and Italy, alongside their friends Usher and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Preparing for her wedding with Jeff Bezos:
Lauren is preparing for her new life chapter with the Amazon billionaire, with their upcoming wedding making headlines. "I’m really excited, thinking about the dress. I have to say, I have a Pinterest—I’m like every other bride, so I have a Pinterest board," she said to Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie during her interview on the Today Show.
“I never thought that when I turned 55 I would be a writer and married. Life is just beginning,” she said. “When I was 20, I was like, ‘Oh my God, life ends at 50. ’ Let me tell you, it’s not like that, ladies. It’s not over, it’s just the beginning. It’s just getting better and better and I always say, when women say, ‘What’s it like to turn 50? ’ it’s just the beginning,” she said.
