There is no doubt that Doja Cat is having a lot of fun at Paris Fashion Week, serving incredible looks and turning heads at every show she has attended. Following her grand entrance at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show, where she was covered in red crystals, fans of the singer and fashion experts have been paying attention to her next look.
“I always love some sort of organic gag, nothing that feels forced but seamless to who Doja is as a person and as an artist,” Doja’s stylist said. “I wanted something that felt like it was off the Paris runway for couture but I wanted it to have a bit of a surrealist vibe to it.”
The singer attended the Viktor & Rolf show wearing faux eyelashes as eyebrows, rocking a mustache and goatee, after online users criticized her previous look for not wearing lashes with her red Swarovski crystal ensemble.
Doja decided to go for an all-black ensemble for the next exclusive fashion event, attending the Valentino Haute Couture show wearing a black trench coat over a miniskirt and bra top, pairing the outfit with a long black wig and bangs. And while the stylish look seemed to be Doja’s less extravagant choice, there was one incredible accessory that took her outfit to the next level.
The acclaimed musician carried a very unique purse, covered in 1,000 Swarovski crystals and 3,000 pearls, which featured a gloved hand with claw-like nails, painted in gold. But this is not it, the purse also included a real bottle of Patrón El Alto tequila.
The singer’s stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, explained the decision behind Doja’s purse, complimenting her look. “My girl loves a tequila cocktail, so taking the idea of this couture level bottle of Patrón El Alto to Paris but making it an accessory that doesn’t leave her side,” seemed to be the perfect choice.
Later that evening the singer changed into a blue leather dress for the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show, carrying a cluster of grapes as her purse, and continuing her theme for the night.
However her most extravagant look went viral following her attendance at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show. The singer took over five hours to get ready with the help of talented makeup artist Pat McGrath, using 30,000 red Swarovski crystals.
