Her first Met Gala

The actress attended her first Met Gala on May 7, 2018. The “Ambulance” star wore a black and white ensemble from Prabal Gurung following that year’s theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination.

As described by the Atelier Prabal Gurung, Eiza wore an onyx silk chiffon hand embroidered cross motif column gown with cutout mako bandeau. The gown also featured an alabaster duchess satin extended giumpe train with satin rouleau. She wore a white gold and South Sea pearl twisted Aurora choker with sapphire and diamond accents to complete the look.

Back to the carpet!

In 2019 the Mexican actress skipped the gala because of her busy schedule. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Metropolitan Museum decided to cancel. After two years, in 2021, Eiza arrived at the benefit “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” wearing a red Atelier Versace gown. The dress featured a thigh-high leg slit, and according to the “Baby Driver” star, it was inspired by the golden age of Hollywood glamour and paid homage to Ava Gardner.
