Her Majesty wore red from head to toe

On Tuesday, March 16,  Queen Maxima  visited the Netherlands Dance Theatre in The Hague. During the working visit, The Queen learned how the dance company is holding its own during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. She also got insight into how the company is working on maintaining quality, starting interesting online programming, and keeping up with audience reach throughout it all.

The Queen visited Netherlands Dance Theater as they prepare for their upcoming production, “Mist.” The world premiere could not take place in May 2020 due to the pandemic, but will still happen virtually a year later in May 2021.

Nederlands Dans Theater is a Dutch contemporary dance company. It is headquartered at the Lucent Danstheater in The Hague. In addition to the Lucent Danstheater, NDT performs at other venues in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam’s Het Muziektheater and Nijmegen’s Stadsschouwburg.
