Sasha showed she was a fan of ‘90s-inspired trends when she rocked socks and heavy boots with a burgundy minidress at the White House. The young teenager completed her outfit with a cream-colored cardigan and wore her hair in a top knot – which is one of her favorite hairstyles. On this occasion, she was joining her sister Malia and her dad as the then-president pardoned a turkey at the White House.

When she attended the Marine Barracks Evening Parade in 2014, Sasha took a page out of mom Michelle Obama’s style book with a blue floral dress. While mom’s was more classic, daughter’s was a mini with dark florals, which she teamed with cap toe flats and a top knot hairstyle.

Sasha looked like she was ready for tea with the Queen when she visited London with her family, but on this occasion she was actually visiting the home of the British prime minster on 10 Downing Street. The teen wore a mint green A-line sleeveless dress (a silhouette that’s also a fave with mom Michelle), a matching cardigan and nude flats – a shoe which goes with everything.

Returning with her family from Martha’s Vineyard one August, Sasha proved she has the perfect formula for a summer travel outfit: 1) cute embroidered denim-look dress; 2) lace up flat sandals and 3) a neutral leather tote that can fit all of your holiday gear, from sunblock to books and even a sweater in case it gets chilly.

While she was a few years from heading off to college, smart Sasha looked ready to hit the books in the cute look she picked for the 2015 turkey pardoning in the Rose Garden at the White House. The look is classic but modern, with a cream colored sweater, denim miniskirt worn with tights and chic tortoiseshell framed eyeglasses. We also love the details: bow earrings and Tiffany blue nail polish.

The younger Obama sister was wearing her Sunday best as she arrived with her family to welcome Pope Francis to Washington, D.C., marking his first trip to the United States as the Pontiff. Sasha embodied youthful elegance in a dark blouse with butterfly sleeves and a trendy color block pleated skirt – a look that seasons later is still very much in style.

Sasha is a big fan of minidresses and rompers in neutral colors but with standout details. Here, as she leaves Air Force One at Castle Airport in Merced County, California, the then-first daughter wore a LBD with some very cool contrasting pastel embroidery.

When then-President Obama hosted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and First Lady Sophie Gregoire Trudeau for a state dinner, Sasha pulled out one of her most elegant looks to date. She wore a burgundy gown with a sheer embroidered lace bodice, a cord choker – she loves a nod to the ‘90s! – and her hair in an elegant braided updo.

Sasha and sister Malia walked the family dogs Bo and Sonny during a chilly November, with little sister Sasha bundling up in warm and comfy knits. She’s wearing her classic black boots with bright blue leggings, wrapping up the look with an oversized sweater, cowl neck knit and sweet top knot.

For a trip to travel to national parks in New Mexico and California, Sasha wore her hair down and opted for one of her go-to looks: a summery minidress and sandals. Her striped frock had pretty green detailing on the bodice.

We can’t forget the sizzling summer accessories! As she attended a baseball game between the Cuban national baseball team and Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Devil Rays at the Estado Latinoamericano in Havana, Cuba, Sasha wore mirrored aviator sunglasses and a bright striped top.

We also got a full look of Sasha’s head-to-toe outfit as she boarded a plane with her family to fly to Argentina at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport. The trendy teen wore mixed prints - an orange and blue striped sleeveless crop top and an A-line mini, completing the look with comfy sneakers.

Let’s talk coats! The younger Obama sibling was wearing a classic combo – a double breasted coat in powder pink and black leather knee-high boots – as she returned to the White House. She had joined dad Barack in Selma, Alabama for the 50th anniversary of Selma to Montgomery Civil Rights marches.

Sasha hit a glamorous note for the Annual National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in 2016 in Washington, D.C. The teenager made a major fashion statement in a lush midnight blue faux fur coat, which might be one of her most fun looks to date.

One of the most fun, modern combos (not to mention, ridiculously comfortable) to wear is a skirt with sneakers. Sasha clearly has discovered that, too, as she loves to rock that look. Here, in Maryland, she wears a timeless pencil skirt and striped top with some high-top sneaks.

Sasha was walking tall in these covetable thigh-high brown boots with wooden heels. She combined the fashionable footwear with some equally stylish neutrals: black leggings, a mauve knit and a white shearling-look overcoat.

We’ve seen Sasha wear clog style sandals a few times, and we fully endorse this footwear! She teamed brown low-heeled versions with a mindress with lace overlay when arriving in Madrid, Spain. Also, she added a pop of color with her bright yellow painted toenails.

Another ‘90s-inspired look from the first daughter for a Christmas concert held at the National Building Museum. The high-necked sleeveless dress in velvet was also in one of Sasha’s preferred shades, burgundy.

Sasha has shown she has a love of stripes and looks fabulous in this effortless green creation. She also loves neutral accessories, adding her favorite tote and some beige flats to keep the outfit light and fresh for summer.

Sasha joined her mom and sister in Venice, Italy, where she donned a LWD – little white dress – and dark ballerina flats. And while she’s definitely forging her own style at this point as a teen, that doesn’t mean she and Malia don’t borrow each other’s clothes. Headed off to Martha’s Vineyard, Sasha wore a contrasting combination that still works seasons later. The teen opted for a bold print in bright blue and purple, teaming the dress with white platform sandals.

We’ve seen Sasha wear embroidered minidresses on many occasions, and this one is just as cute. The long-sleeved dress has a v-neck and bronze all-over embroidery with more ornate designs on the bodice and hem. Sasha paired the dress, which she wore here in Madrid, Spain, with a choker and wooden-soled clog sandals.

The former first daughter has shown she loves a good classic combo, creating timeless looks from wardrobe staples. Here, Sasha wears a little black dress and simple black ballet flats, finishing the look with a quilted denim bomber jacket – three great pieces for any closet.

For Thanksgiving 2019, Michelle Obama shared this family photo where she and Barack proudly posed with their grown-up daughters, both college students. In the photo, we can see Sasha, who was dressed up for the prom, as a proud 18-year-old who has fully embraced her style with her classic favorites in tact.
