As March came to an end, so did  Prince Harry  and  Meghan Markle ’s time as senior members of the Royal Family. On March 31, the couple said farewell to their royal titles, but the memories will forever remain. And who can forget the 38-year-old’s most stunning jewelry moments? As the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry’s wife had many memorable moments in which she stunned in chic and sophisticated garbs and sparkly jewels.

And speaking of jewelry, renowned jewelry expert, gemologist and a frequent commentator on the Royal Family’s jewelry vault, Grant Mobley, shared details with HOLA! USA on some of Meghan’s most significant jewelry moments. “All of these gorgeous pieces were gifts to Meghan from members of the royal family, and there is no doubt that they will stay within the royal family and be passed down to future generations,” he shared.

“This is something the Royals are known for. They have always understood the true value of natural diamond jewelry and know that thanks to their rarity, timelessness, resilience, and enduring emotional value, diamond pieces can easily stand the test of time and be passed down to future generations.

Three-stone diamond engagement ring

“Meghan’s gorgeous and timeless three stone engagement ring has a cushion shaped center diamond, and side diamonds that belonged to the late Princess Diana, making it the ultimate family heirloom. The center stone is a natural diamond from Botswana, a country that has significant meaning to the couple and is very close to their hearts. This was most certainly a deliberate decision of Harry's since Botswana has been positively transformed by the diamond industry, enabling every child there to receive free primary and secondary education. Prior to diamond discovery, Botswana was one of the poorest countries in the world, but since then it has been transformed into one of Africa's most prosperous nations.”

Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara

“This stunning art deco style diamond tiara, which originally belonged to the Queen’s grandmother, is the tiara Meghan chose to wear on her wedding day. It’s made of natural diamonds and platinum, and is formed as a flexible band of 11 sections with interlaced ovals. It features both large and small natural diamonds, and the center stone is actually a detachable brooch with a large diamond at the center, surrounded by nine smaller brilliant diamonds. It’s almost an unwritten rule that all royal brides wear a beautiful diamond tiara on their big day. Perhaps this is because natural diamonds are the ultimate symbol of true love, romance and longevity. They are also precious and rare, which is what a marriage is meant to be – unique and special for each couple.”

Diamond and White Gold Galanterie de Cartier Studs from Prince Charles

“The beautiful diamond studs are a rumored gift from Prince Charles. They are simple, elegant and incredibly versatile, meaning they can be worn day or night, with almost any outfit – one of the great qualities of natural diamonds. Meghan wore the delicate studs on her wedding day, a perfect complement to Queen Mary’s Bandeau tiara.”

Princess Diana’s Aquamarine and Diamond Cocktail Ring

“What is surely one of Meghan’s most prized possessions, Prince Harry gifted the Duchess his mother’s aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring, which she was seen wearing for the first time on their wedding day leaving Windsor Castle to travel to their evening reception at Frogmore House. This statement cocktail ring is one of the most vibrant pieces of jewelry that Meghan owns. Its large emerald cut center stone varies in tone from pale turquoise to deep blue. The ring was made by Asprey and is believed to have been commissioned by Princess Diana following her 1996 divorce from Prince Charles.”

Diamond and Pearl Earrings from the Queen

“These elegant earrings were a gift from Her Majesty and were first worn by Meghan during her first official engagement with the Queen in Cheshire. We are still not sure where the earrings are actually from, but it is speculated that they could've been from the Queen's personal collection rather than a new purchase. Meghan has been seen wearing these stunning earrings on multiple occasions, including to the Wellchild Awards and upon her arrival in Fiji during an official tour.”
