When Camila Coelho isn’t busy designing her namesake collection and building her brand, the Latina entrepreneur is a staple in the front row during the fashion weeks around the world. Most recently, she traveled from her home in Los Angeles to attend New York Fashion Week where the Brazilian-American had an extra meaningful visit. “This New York Fashion Week has been so special to me because on Monday I opened my heart to the world about living with epilepsy, and the love and support I’ve received has meant the world to me,” she tells HOLA! USA.
In addition to opening up about her battle with epilepsy, she is also breaking down her NYFW by the numbers with HOLA! USA. In town for five days, she went through 51 pieces of clothing, 21 pairs of shoes and 15 bags that made up 11 looks which she managed to fit in three suitcases.
Sleep is super important to her so she managed to get in 32 hours in the comforts of the Four Seasons Downtown. To prepare for all of her events and shows, glam took 13 hours for the five hours of shows and four of press and events.
In typical New York fashion, Camila spent double the time in traffic than at the shows, 10 hours to be exact. Keep reading for her full rundown, and scroll through to check out all of her amazing looks from the seven shows she attended including Brandon Maxwell, Michael Kors and Marcs Jacobs.

Brandon Maxwell
Camila wore this boss suit with a bralet to the designer’s show. “I fall more and more in love with Brandon each season,” she notes. “I was obsessed with all of the silk pieces and the drapey bows on the shoulder in his show. I also loved seeing Brandon open up so vulnerably on Instagram because when you see his show it’s so perfect. You don’t know what someone might be going through leading up to such a big show.”
Dior
For a Sunday in NYC, Camila wore this patterned look with chunky boots.
Jason Wu
For a night on the town, the Brazilian-American wore a monochrome suit and a black coat. “Jason Wu was set up like a magical garden; the venue was absolutely beautiful and the highlight from his show for me were all of the feathery gowns and pieces.”
Jonathan Simkhai
Keeping on trend, the designer wore an all-orange look for his show. “Jonathan is not only a close friend to me who I admire on a deep level but a brilliant designer,” Camilla shares. “I love everything that he does. I feel like he is the king of slip dresses, but he also killed it with the pleated leather pieces this collection, especially the colorful ones, and the yellow pleated oversized dress was insane. “
National Epilepsy Day
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Camila took a moment in purple to honor becoming an Epilepsy Foundation Ambassador on Epilepsy Day.
Camila Coelho Collection
The fashionista paired one of her blazers sold on Revolve with a snakeskin mini and a bodysuit of a similar hue.
Prabal Gurung
Camila brought all the fierceness with these color-block khaki pants and crop top showing off a hint of her killer abs.
Press Day
Mimi picked out these leather pants and tan coat for a full day of press.
Oscar de la Renta
Celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez and makeup artist Keita Moore gave Camila the perfect glam to match her pink look for the label’s show. “Oscar de la Renta is always one of the dreamiest shows for me,” she says. “I am obsessed with all of the gowns but also the more casual pieces – like the coats and suiting pants. I cannot wait for a red carpet moment to wear one of the gowns.”
Michael Kors
The brunette beauty, who wore a fuzzy striped sweater and a black mini, says of the show: “I loved Orville Peck’s performance at Michael Kors, as well as their cozy oversized sweater pieces.”
Marc Jacobs
For her final show of the week, Camila wore polka dots and floral for a flirty vibe: “Marc Jacobs was the best way to end NYFW because it was a true fashion 360 experience. I love the monochromatic pastels and the gorgeous gowns, and it was so amazing to see Miley Cyrus strut down the runway.”
