Runway Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2019-2020

Purples are becoming the favorites of 2019. Lilac, mallow, and lavender are determined to stay for the rest of the year. In fact, their permanence is not surprising. Since the star of the season, the hottest celebs have worn many variations of the hue. especially in their lighter shades, and at the end of spring they Spring is over, but fashion isn't ready to say goodbye to Ultra Violet.

Fashion trends in the autumn-winter runways walk along a path of nuances that open the range with darker shades, good news for those who wish to delve into them and bet on the cold ranges that will fill the outfits for the following months with romanticism, elegance, and glamor, thought from the most discreet color combination to the one that bets for everything.

 

Intense 'Tyrian Purple' 

The depth of this tone, which lies between purple and purple red, appeared in Elie Saab's haute couture on draped one-shoulder dresses or with large bows, capes, skirts, and tight dresses with large golden belts pierced by velvet fabric. Accents of feathers and metallic embroidery also stood out.

Runway Zimmermann fall winter 2019

On the Zimmermann runway, this tone dyed short and maxi dresses with long sleeves and small horizontal frills. Although its most sophisticated version was this leather dress with a matching fanny pack and beret. A line A midi skirt and high waist pants, also made of leather, opened the range of options for cold days.

Kate Spade AW19 Collection Runway

Deep and combinable

This purple of Tire, also called imperial or royal purple, added elegance and glamor to a satin dress with buttons from top to bottom by Kate Spade. Zimmermann also presented the color with a matching purse although, in this case, with mixed print.

Missoni Fall Winter 2019/2020 Runway

The discreet Grapeade

Grapeade is a neither too light nor too dark mauve which stands out in the color trends of this season. Missoni presented it in a brightly textured blouse and trouser set, although it was also present in a midi skirt combined with a white, orange, and deep blue top piece.

Christian Wijnants Fall Winter 2019/2020 Runway

This softer version of purple that leans slightly towards cold was introduced by Christian Wijnants in a coat over an entire piece of intense purple. However, the mix with neutrals, yellows, the range of blues, and the classic animal print will be just as effective.

Bora Aksu Runway

Its average intensity appeared in fashion weeks as a practical and, by far, wearable alternative. Bora Aksu, for example, opted for the grapeade in a dress with transparencies and embellished with a multitude of ruffles, as well as another with asymmetrical neckline and mixed with a lighter color.

Tibi Fall/Winter 2019 Runway

Soft purple lavender clearly prevailed in the proposals for this autumn-winter. Dries Van Noten preferred to show this color in dresses of loose and very transparent silhouettes with floral prints that remind of spring, while Tibi presented much warmer dresses, like the one depicted here.

Creamy and suitable for all ocassions

Soft tones, especially in pink dyes, appeared on this year’s red carpets, but as the low temperatures approached, lavender is also present with its more delicate tone. Tom Ford opted for it in column dresses suitable for both day and night, and in cozy coats as well.

Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture Fall Winter 2019/2020 Runway

From head to toe

In haute couture, the softness of this color was seen in a blazer and skirt set from the Giorgio Armani Prive collection. The satin texture was clearly noticeable. However, wearing it from top to bottom is not the only option; blues, grays, browns, and yellows will be its best allies. Do you dare to wear it?
