Karol G is coming clean in a new documentary. The movie, titled "Tomorrow Was Beautiful," explores Karol G's career and her historic world tour "Mañana será bonito," which took her to some of the major stadiums and venues in the world.
The documentary shows Karol G in different situations, speaking openly to the camera as she discusses her career and the success she experienced with her last record.
"It's no secret that it's rare to see a woman sing reggaeton. The fact that I was a woman was already a huge challenge for my career," she says to the camera.
The trailer also shows moments from her tour, showing as she gets ready for shows, trains, makes music, spends time with her dancers, and more. It also shows emotional moments in her concert, including her performance in Colombia, her country.
"Tell me if there's anything better in this world than being born in Colombia!" she yells to the excited crowd.

Netflix promises an emotional ride with the film, exploring Karol G fully, to a degree that has never been shown before. "Karol G: Tomorrow was Beautiful, a documentary from This Machine and director Cristina Costantini, traces Karol’s rise from humble beginnings in Medellín, Colombia, to international stardom, as she proves the critics wrong with an electrifying, record-breaking stadium tour," reads the film's official synopsis.

Karol G originally teased the project in December of last year, sharing a handwritten note on social media that read "Netflix" at the bottom. "A story born from dreams that seemed impossible. Fueled by unwavering faith. A relentless journey that defied all odds," reads her message.
"My life, my work, my truth, and the powerful connection I share with you all. My dream came true."
"Tomorrow was Beautiful" premieres this May 8th on Netflix.
