The global superstar shared a video with her followers, hinting that attendees can expect a special surprise at every show. With two dates scheduled in Medellín, Shakira promises to keep fans on their toes with each performance.
Many fans are speculating that the surprise could involve a special guest appearance, with rumors swirling that Shakira may bring her collaborator Karol G to the stage. The pair made waves with their acclaimed hit song "TQM."
The two musicians took home one of the most coveted awards at the MTV VMAs, receiving the VMA for Best Collaboration for their hit song, taking the stage during an emotional moment, they shared how proud they are of representing their home country.
“I just wanna say three things,” Shakira said receiving the award, “Que viva Barranquilla!” referring to the city she was born in Colombia, “Que viva Medallo!” she said about Karol G’s hometown, “Y que viva Colombia!”
“If collaborating with the legendary Shakira had been impressive, having an award with her is something from another planet,” Karol G said at the time, before sharing her appreciation with her fans, “Thank you everybody I love you!” she concluded, hugging Shakira and blowing kisses to the crowd.
While the surprises have yet to be revealed, fans are commenting on the possibility of seeing the pair perform. However, the second surprise has yet to be deciphered as many continue to wonder who else could be taking the stage with the Colombian icon.
