Alcaraz took to Instagram to share the project's title and release date. The series is titled "A Mi Manera," or "My Way," in English, and premieres this April 23rd.

While details of the series are being kept under wraps, Netflix's synopsis reads: "This documentary series follows Carlos Alcaraz as he balances the pressures of a phenomenal tennis career with a 20-year-old's desire to let loose"

In a previous chat with Netflix, Alcaraz discussed the project, praising its format and what people can expect when they watch it. “People are going to get to know everything you don’t see on a tennis court,” he said. “I think it’s something very different.”

Alcaraz's partnership with Netflix

While this marks Alcaraz's most committed project with Netflix, the two had partnered up in the past for the Netflix Slam, a tennis tournament that pit all manner of impressive tennis players in different matches.

Alcaraz played against Rafael Nadal, with him winning the match and playing against one of his idols.

“I’m honored and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas,” said Alcaraz before the match. “He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves.”

"My Way" is a part of Netflix's upcoming roster of sports content, which has been met with great acclaim over the past months and years. More titles include the soccer docuseries "LALIGA," and shows like "Formula 1: Drive to Survive," "Full Swing," "Quarterback," and more.
