The Festival de Viña del Mar 2025 is in full swing at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater in Valparaíso, Chile. Founded in 1960, this iconic festival is Latin America’s biggest music event, with each night featuring a headlining act, a supporting artist, a comedian, and the international song competition, where contestants in folk and pop categories compete for the festival’s top prize. The amphitheater transforms into a dazzling light show, with all 15,000 seats filled with fans ready to cheer—or judge.

The audience, known as El Monstruo (The Monster), has the power to make or break a performance, and at stake is La Gaviota, the festival’s coveted Gold, Silver, or Platinum trophy.

Last night, Marc Anthony returned for his fourth festival appearance, delivering a powerhouse set with his full band, followed by comedian George Harris, the song competition, and pop/tropical duo Bacilos.
