The 2025 Grammy Awards are fast approaching. The awards ceremony will reward the best music and performers that came over the past year, with Trevor Noah serving as host for the fifth year in a row.
Earlier today, the show revealed some of the evening's performers, a list that includes Shakira, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, and more. Other musicians will likely be announced in the coming days.
The Grammys announced its list of nominees in November, with Beyonce leading the group with 11 nominations for her record "Cowboy Carter." The recognition made her the artist with the most nominations in the awards show's history. She's been nominated 99 times throughout her career.
She's followed by Post Malone, Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX with seven nominations. Roan, Carpenter, and Taylor Swift trail with six nominations each.
How to watch the Grammys
The Los Angeles fires continue to be a cause for concern, with various members of the industry sharing statements hoping that the awards show would be rescheduled or canceled altogether. In a press release, the Grammys stated that while the show would stick to the planned date, it would address the ongoing situation and raise funds for first responders and victims of the natural disaster.
"The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours," reads a statement from CBS.
A day before the Grammys, Billie Eilish and Green Day will lead FireAid, a concert with the intent of raising money to cope with the devastation of the fires.
The Grammys will air on February 2nd. They kick off at 8 pm ET and will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
