The series, which has aired two seasons over the past couple of years and will be premiering a third this February, is one of HBO's most successful series. Natasha Rothwell, who played a role in the first season of the series, will be returning as well, adding some continuity to the story.
"The White Lotus" is an anthology series following various characters at different locations of The White Lotus, a fictional chain of luxury hotels and resorts. The series is a dark comedy and explores tensions that exist between races, genders, and characters of different economic backgrounds, most prominently the hotel's guests and the staff.
Both seasons have also included deaths and murders. The first season was set in Hawaii, and the second in Sicily. Throughout its run, "The White Lotus" has won 15 Emmys.
