There’s a lot of stuff to stream nowadays. In hopes of helping you watch more good movies and TV, we compile some of the most exciting titles streaming across all platforms in our weekly column, What To Watch.

This week, in honor of Inauguration Day, we’re recommending some titles that have everything to do with Presidents.

Lincoln (Prime Video)

Lincoln | #TBT Trailer | 20th Century FOX

Steven Spielberg directed Daniel Day-Lewis in one of the final roles of his career for "Lincoln." That's reason enough to watch this movie. It's also a great story and display of craftmanship, following Lincoln's efforts to abolish slavery during the final four months of his life.

Nixon (Prime Video)

Nixon (1995) Trailer #1

Directed by controversial auteur Oliver Stone, who had a fixation on American presidents, "Nixon" stars Anthony Hopkins in the lead role. Again, that's reason enough to watch. The film is a blend of truth and fiction, following the political and personal life of Nixon.

The Apprentice (Apple TV+)

THE APPRENTICE - International Trailer - Starring Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Strong & Maria Bakalova

One of the most controversial movies in recent memory is "The Apprentice." Starring Sebastian Stan as Donald Trump, the film follows his initial years as a real estate mogul. The project was written by Gabriel Sherman, a journalist who's done various profiles on Trump, and was met with acclaim for Stan's performance.

Amistad (Paramount+)

Amistad (1997) Theatrical Trailer

Another film directed by Steven Spielberg and exploring slavery in America is "Amistad," starring Djimon Honsou, Matthew McConaughey, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, and more. The movie is based on the true story of the Spanish slave ship La Amistad, where slaves rebelled, prompting a trial for their freedom. Martin Van Buren, the President of the era, is played by Nigel Hawthorne.

W (Peacock)

W. (2008) Official Trailer - Josh Brolin Movie

Directed by Oliver Stone and having a satirical and comedic twist, "W" follows George W. Bush, played by Josh Brolin. The film explores Bush's life as a young adult and his presidency.

Jackie (Apple TV+)

JACKIE | OFFICIAL TRAILER | FOX Searchlight

If you're in the presidential mood but want to see a story told from a new perspective, there's "Jackie," the film that kicked off Pablo Larrain's now beloved trilogy of famous historic women. "Jackie" stars Natalie Portman as Jackie Kennedy, and follows her on the days following the assassination of JFK.
