The Los Angeles fires have disrupted the entertainment industry in the midst of awards season. In the case of the 2025 Grammy Awards, the fires have canceled various related events, including three of the largest Grammy Week events. Here's what we know about the incoming Grammys.

Despite the cancelation of various Grammy-related events, the award show will continue to air on its scheduled date this February 2nd. The Recording Academy shared a letter revealing why they would stick to the planned schedule.

"In close coordination with local authorities to ensure public safety and responsible use of area resources, the 67th Grammy Awards telecast on CBS on February 2nd will proceed as planned," reads the letter.

Other major award shows, like the Oscars, scheduled this March 3rd, will also remain on schedule.

Various Grammy events have been affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, including MusiCares Person of the Year, BMG Pre-Grammy Party, The Resonator Awards, and Milk & Honey/Reservoir Music Pre-Grammy Celebration.

The Recording Academy revealed that while the Grammys would be carrying on as normal, they would be benefitting the wildfire victims and the first responders.

"This year's show, however, will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect hours," reads the Academy's letter. "This city is our home, and we mourn the loss of life and destruction that have come to it in recent days."

Over the past week, the Academy launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort which hopes to provide relief for musicians and creatives that were affected by the fires. The initiative was launched with an initial $1 million donation and has distributed around $2 million as of this writing.
