Puerto Rico is about to be taken over by electric energy this summer as Bad Bunny kicks off a monumental concert residency in his homeland. The Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar has announced 21 exclusive shows at San Juan's iconic Coliseo de Puerto Rico, bringing his fans an unforgettable experience of music, culture, and community. The residency, dubbed "No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí," will support his highly anticipated new album "Debí Tirar Más Fotos," which was dropped on January 5, 2025.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has always made his native Puerto Rico a central part of his career. This residency is a love letter to his roots, offering an exclusive chance for local fans to see him perform live in their hometown before the rest of the world. For the first nine concerts, Bad Bunny has made it clear that these shows are reserved for Puerto Rican residents, further emphasizing the importance of giving back to the island that raised him.

A Summer of Music, Culture, and Vibes

The concerts will span July and August, turning the Coliseo de Puerto Rico into the ultimate summer destination. Imagine the electric atmosphere: piraguas (shaved ice treats), dominoes, plastic chairs, and, of course, the infectious sounds of reggaeton filling the air. It's the ultimate Puerto Rican summer vibe, a mix of tradition, community, and music that gets everyone in the spirit.

One of the standout tracks, "Baile Inolvidable," has already been turned into a visually captivating music video, adding to the anticipation for his live performances.

"Prepare the Luis Muñoz Marín airport; what's coming is not easy. Let the motorcycles be heard from the baldorioty like Tito Trinidad Time. Let the diaspora and guests return home. Dress code like a jibarito, and leave the horses in front. The biggest party in town has taken place. Stop to buy a pound of bread with chopped ham and two cheeses. I'm mad! Benito, you don't want to leave, and I don't want to miss it!!! This has caught fire."
