The Super Bowl is right around the corner. After a grueling and exciting football season, the largest sports event in America is taking place within weeks.
Over the past few months, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles played against the strongest teams in the league, coming out on top and earning a place in the Super Bowl final. The event presents an opportunity for Kansas to become the first team to win the Super Bowl three years in a row. It's also a chance for the Eagles to win the Super Bowl once more since their first and only win in 2018, and to beat the Chiefs in a repeat of the Super Bowl from 2023.
Here's all you should know about the incoming event:
When is the Super Bowl?
This year's Super Bowl will be held on February 9th. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET., with there being various channels and methods of watching from your home or your favorite sports bar.

The match will be hosted in Ceasars' Superdome, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This marks the 11th occasion when the Super Bowl is hosted in that venue, which is usually the home of the New Orleans Saints.
Who is the halftime performer?
Kendrick Lamar will be this year's Super Bowl halftime show performer. The rapper and singer has won plenty of awards throughout his career, including 17 Grammys and a Nobel Prize. This latter win made him the first non-classical and non-jazz musician to win the recognition, a feat that remains one of Lamar's towering achievements.
"Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I'll be there to remind the world why," said Lamar in a statement to the NFL. "They got the right one."
Joining him will be SZA. Other notorious performers include Jon Batiste, who will perform the national anthem, Lauren Daigle and jazz musician Trombone Shorty performing "America the Beautiful", and Ledisi who will perform the song "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
