Angelina Jolie is preparing for the worldwide release of her latest movie 'Maria' directed by Pablo Larraín. However, she is already making headlines for another upcoming project in the early stages of development, which is set in the middle of Paris Fashion Week.
The Hollywood star has been promoting 'Maria' and sharing her experience on set, portraying the glamorous Greek opera singer Maria Callas, and now she is ready to dive into a very different role in the movie 'Stitches.'
© Andreas RentzThe new movie is set "in the world of high fashion and unfolds in Paris," as reported by Variety. This time, Angelina will play a filmmaker, who gets involved with three women who cross paths during Fashion Week in Paris.
© Theo WargoDirected by Alice Winocour, the project will be filmed in both French and English. Production will begin next year, filming in Paris, and produced by Charles Gillibert's CG Cinema in partnership with Zhang Xin and William Horberg of Closer Media.
The last time Angelina spent time in Paris, she was on the set of 'Maria,' and now she is set to come back to work on the new fashion-centered project at the start of 2025.

The actress admitted that she trained for "almost seven months" in preparation for the role. "Everybody here knows, I was terribly nervous," she said during a press conference at the Venice Film Festival.
“I spent almost seven months training because when you work with Pablo you can’t do anything by half. He demands, in the most wonderful way, that you really do the work and you really learn and train," she explained.
“My first time singing I remember being so nervous. My sons were there and they helped lock the door so that nobody else was coming in, and I was shaky,” she said. “Pablo, in his decency, started me in a small room and ended me in La Scala. So he gave me time to grow.”
