‘Dancing With the Stars’ finalists revealed: Xochitl Gomez among the top five

The show revealed a shocking twist, sharing that all couples would dance in the finals.

Dancing With the Stars” is nearing the end of the season. As dancers and stars give it their all, emotions are running high, with contestants, judges, and audience members experiencing all of the feels. As contestants like Xochitl Gomez, Ariana Madix, and more wowed viewers with their growth and commitment to the show, judges revealed at the end of the episode that all five participating couples would be moving on to the finale. It’s a first in the series 32 season history.

“No one is going home tonight,” said Julianne Hough. “Everyone here has made it to the finale. For the first time ever we'll see five couples dancing for the trophy.” Scroll down to have a look at the remaining contestants:

Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovsky have won the hearts of viewers from all over the contest. With only 17 years old, Gomez is moving on to the finale after wowing judges with a performance by Gloria Estefan’s “Samba” and Lady Gaga’s “La Vie en Rose.”

Jason Mraz has been open about the struggles he’s experienced while learning to dance. In last night’s episode, he revealed that he almost quit. “I wanted to throw in the towel,” he said. “I’m so glad I didn’t.”

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov

Ariana Madix, from the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, also moved on to the finale. She was very emotional after concluding her second dance, crying and thanking her dance partner.

Charity Lawson, from The Bachelorette fame, also moved on to the finals. “Coming into this, you have high hopes for yourself, but you never know how things are going to play out and how difficult things are going to be to learn,” she said in the episode.

Alyson Hannigan, known for her work in the TV shows “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “How I Met Your Mother,” was incredibly surprised to make it to the finale. “I thought Alfonso [Ribeiro] made a mistake,” she said of the moment when the judge called out her name, revealing she’d moved on to the finale. “I thought he meant to say Ariana [Madix] and he said my name first and I just was waiting for him to correct himself and then I couldn’t believe it.“
