La Casa de Los Famosos 2: A look back at who was eliminated along the way

Eliminations for La Casa de Los Famosos 2 were last night and just as we predicted, Laura Bozzo was sent home by fans. Making   Nacho Casano, Toni Costa,  Ivonne Montero, Daniella Navarro and Salvador Zerboni the five finalists in the running for the $200,000 grand prize. It all comes to an end in a grand three-hour live coast-to-coast season finale next Monday, August 8 at 7 pm ET/6c/4 pm PT. Take a look back at the celebrities that kicked off the season in the order they were eliminated.

Mayeli Alonso

First to be eliminated from the house was Mayeli Alonso with 33.7% of the votes. The ex-wife of Lupillo Rivera was very vocal during her short time on the show, revealing secrets between Rivera and Belinda, and a confrontation with Niurka Marcos days before her elimination. “Unfortunately, there are people who can’t accept when someone raises their voice... I don’t regret everything I developed in the house. I feel happy…” she told co-hosts Héctor Sandarti and Jimena Gallego.

Brenda Zambrano

After Alonso came Brenda Zambrano’s elimination. Zambrano was one of the first to be involved with drama, making a sassy comment when Julia Gama was invited by Rafael Nieves to the leader’s room. However, there were many fans shocked by the decision, calling it unfair.

Luis “Potro” Caballero

Singer and influencer Luis “Potro” Caballero was the third to be eliminated. His departure started drama in the house between Bozzo and Natalia Alcocer.

Eduardo Rodríguez

Eduardo Rodríguez was the fourth to lose out on the chance to win $200,000. The controversial Mexican actor found himself as the enemy of viewers after making statements against fan favorite, Montero. Montero’s loyalty to the viewers was evident when she became the first finalist of the season.

Julia Gama

Brazilan model Julia Gama couldn’t be saved and was the fifth person to be eliminated.

Niurka Marcos

Cuban singer Niurka Marcos seemed like the favorite to win the show was eliminated by fans. She had plenty of controversy in the house, making comments about Costa’s ex-wife Adamari López, and a confrontation with Juan Vidal.

Osvaldo Ríos

The seventh elimination saw the goodbye of Osvaldo Ríos. Fans were furious when they witnessed Ríos kissing Zerboni on the mouth, calling it the “kiss of the death.”

Rafael Nieves

Comic book writer and designer Rafael Nieves’ elimination was one of the saddest of the seasons for the purple room. The week before his elimination nothing was going well for the Nieves.

Lewis Mendoza

With only 18% of the votes, the former ‘For Love or For Money’ star said goodbye. Lewis Mendoza was eliminated after lashing out at Montero, proving again she was not a cast member you wanted to cross this season.

Juan Vidal

Dominican actor Juan Vidal was the tenth to be eliminated with only 8% of the votes. He spent 70 days in the house and was nominated 4 times before finally saying goodbye. His romance with Niurka Marcos was one of the most talked about things on the show but he also had drama outside the house with his ex-partner Cynthia Klitbo accusing him of psychological abuse during their relationship.

Natalia Alcocer

‘La Vikinga’ was eliminated with 32.1% of the votes. It was a close elimination with Navarro and Costa, but in the end, Natalia Alcocer had to say goodbye.

Laura Bozzo

Laura Bozzo was the last person to be eliminated and was one of the most controversial people on the show. After 84 days in the house, she said was proud of being herself. “I’d rather go out with my head held high and with dignity than be in a place where your heart is ripped out for $200,000,” she said after elimination.
