The wait is over! Pharrell Williams reveals  Rihanna  is working on her ninth studio album. In a recent interview with Allure, the “Happy” singer said that RiRi is so focused on her upcoming music that it feels like she is from outer space. “Rih is in a different place right now,” the 47-year-old star said. “Like, wow. She’s from a different world.” According to Williams, Rihanna might be from Venus. “I‘m willing to bet, because Venus is gaseous, that if they had a telescope that could zoom through all that s---, you’d see Rih laying there naked.”

For the singer, the creative process of making music feels like “a house.” A space with many components. “There’s more than one way inside the house,” he said. “It’s not just the front door. The side doors, windows, patios. There [are] so many ways, so I don’t know that we have the time to really unpack that.”

“I will say that no matter the scenario when it comes to music for me, there’s always a trigger,” he added. “It’s just a word in the conversation or a notion, or seeing a situation, or watching a movie. It all depends. And once you find that trigger, it becomes a rabbit hole, and then you just kind of go down that. The rest of it is figuring out what the groove is going to be.”

Rihanna’s long-awaited upcoming has been in the making for a while now; however, the 32-year-old singer and founder of Savage x Fenty first hinted at it back in February. The award-winning superstar and businesswoman posted a photo at a music studio with the caption, “Gang. back in the STU.”

The last time Rihanna released an album was in 2016; she later focused on building her lingerie, beauty empire, and other ventures

In an interview with The Associated Press, the acclaimed singer revealed she just wants to “have fun with music,” especially during these challenging times where “everything is so heavy.” She also added that “the world that we live in is a lot. It’s overwhelming every single day. And with the music, I’m using that as my outlet.“

Rihanna is also aware of the limitations and is working on entertaining while keeping everyone safe. “I want to go on tour, but I can’t, so I’m stuck with music that I love,” she said. “[I’m] trying to figure out how I can even create visuals to that.” She added that her fans wouldn’t “be disappointed when it happens,” assuring that “It’s going to be worth it.”
