According to Hablemos de Series RD —a social media platform and podcast that discusses all of our favorite TV shows from the past, the present, and those about to come —if there is something that the 21st century and the technology that came with it has given us, it is the ease of being able to enjoy content on-demand and different platforms.

Luckily, we no longer depend only on television and schedules; now, we can use a remote that allows us to select what we like and watch it when we feel like it.

The summer is weeks shy from ending, and you probably took advantage of 2021 Labor Day to visit family members. If you need the 2.0 version of the holiday weekend to rest and stay at home, Hablemos de Series RD shares with HOLA! USA eight recommendations of shows you can binge-watch to farewell the summer.

If friendship and self-improvement series are your thing, we recommend Valeria, an original Spanish series for Netflix, based on the novels by Elísabet Benavent. The story tells the life of Valeria, a young writer who isn’t going through her best moment. Although her work is not going well and her love life is declining, we can also enjoy the story parallel that she tells us about each of her friends: Carmen, Lola, and Nerea.
