Felix Silla, best known for his famous role as Cousin Itt on the original 1960’s TV sitcom, The Adams Family, died today at the age of 84. He died from pancreatic cancer complications in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Felix‘s career in Hollywood included roles such Cousin Itt, the robot sidekick Twiki on the NBC series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, an Ewok in the Return of the Jedi. He has also starred in Spaceballs, Battle Stars Galactica and has done stunts for movies such as Poltergeist and The Golden Child.
His passing was first confirmed by his co-star Gil Gerard, from the 1970’s TV series Buck Rogers, whose tweet was followed by many more to pay tribute to the late actor.
The HOLA! USA editors loved all his work and would like to remember him by his silliest and most memorable role. Cousin Itt was the unique and mysterious little, long haired relative who spoke in a language that only the Addams family could understand. How could we forget all that mumbling!
