Serena Williams is getting her own documentary!

The tennis star is teaming up with Amazon Studios to work on the television project, which will be airing exclusively on the streaming platform.

Although more details for the untitled documentary are yet to be announced, we do know that the docu-series will follow the life of the athlete on and off the tennis court, so fans can expect to see moments of her private and professional life.

Serena shared her excitement on Instagram, admitting they are working on “developing some of the most inspiring and important content for a global audience.”

It seems this is not the only high-quality content the 39-year-old star is preparing, as she recently revealed she signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios, “to create some scripted and nonscripted” projects.

The mother and wife also released an incredible documentary back in 2018, produced by HBO Sports, named Being Serena.

Amazon Studios explained that the well-deserved deal comes after acknowledging Serena as a global force, who has “transformed her sport and become one of the most inspiring athletes, entrepreneurs and women of her generation.”

Adding that she is admired by everyone around the world, “for her unmatched prowess on the court,” and for her but “dedication to advocacy as well.“

We can’t wait to see Serena’s journey exclusively and all her original content, available worldwide, exclusively for Prime Video.
