Amanda Seyfried is ready to star in the next movie of the Mamma Mia! franchise.

The 35-year-old Hollywood actress first appeared in the star-studded 2008 movie adaption alongside Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Christine Baranski and Dominic Cooper.

Reprising the fan-favorite Sophie Sheridan in the 2018 box office hit Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Amanda was recently asked if she would be willing to participate in another sequel, confessing she would love to do a third installment, however “In order to do it the right way,” they first need a good story to get the project going.

This is not the first time a third movie is teased, as Cher and producer Judy Craymer, opened up about the project last summer, revealing It’s definitely happening because it’s meant to be a trilogy.

“I was meant to have been getting on with that, in my head, during these months. But then I got hit with COVID fog,” she explained.

And while both the producer and the actress have assured that the cast would be thrilled to be back, they are not really sure about what could happen next on the famous storyline.

The Oscar nominee also revealed that it’s not about money, “I know when it comes to revenue, I don‘t think anybody’s opposed to that,” but “it’s more about making something we can all celebrate and we can all join as a family.”

While the producer stated that she wouldn’t know if “there are enough ABBA songs to make a third movie.”

Amanda says it can definitely happen, even commenting on Meryl’s participation, admitting that “If Meryl wants to come back again she‘ll find a way.“
