Harry Styles has been chosen to open the highly-anticipated Grammy Awards this Sunday!

The fan-favorite artist is expected to start the evening with an incredible performance, also hoping to have a very successful night, as he is nominated for three awards.

Following Lizzo’s opening performance last year, Harry is expected to sing one of the songs he’s being nominated for, Watermelon Sugar for Best Pop Solo Performance, or Adore You for Best Music Video.

The 27-year-old artist is also competing for Best Pop Vocal Album for Fine Line, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The Grammy’s are featuring a mix of live, in-person and pre-taped performances, and the organization promised “some of the best live performers on the planet,” including Taylor Swift, BTS, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, Megan Thee Stallion and Post Malone, among others.

The awards have caused major controversy, with former One Direction member Zayn Malik and Super Bowl Halftime Show performer The Weekend, accusing the awards of being rigged and having preferences in the voting process.

Although the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has changed the format of the ceremony, it was reported that the entertainers will “engage the audience at home,” starting with Harry Styles, who will be “at the top of the show.”
