Madonna is taking over Netflix! The queen of pop is releasing her new documentary on the streaming platform, with some exclusive behind-the-scenes clips of her Madame X Tour.

The special footage will include the struggles of the iconic performer, as she manages to get through the impressive series of concerts with serious obstacles, including her hip and knee injury.

The acclaimed artist has kept her fans updated, teasing the Netflix exclusive on her social media accounts and putting the finishing touches to the highly-anticipated film.

This documentary comes 30 years after the release of Madonna’s latest series Truth or Dare, which includes footage of her successful Blond Ambition era.

A close source has described the project as a way to show Madame X Tour “for the spectacle that it was,” revealing that the star “quite literally put blood, sweat and tears into the” concert dates.

The 62-year-old pop legend has also been described as someone who has “never been the type to fade into the background, so viewers will definitely get to witness her dry sense of humor.“

Madonna has been incredibly involved with the project, and she has “spent weeks watching previews and helping to edit the footage at home.”

The singer is extremely busy these days, as she is also directing her long-awaited biopic, that tells the story of her professional career and personal life, and will be co-directed by Diablo Cody.
