The 31-year-old actor, which is currently nominated for a SAG Award and NAACP Image Award, will deliver the opening monologue and act in the sketches with the show’s recurrent talent. In contrast, Bad Bunny is expected to perform songs from his latest album, “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo,” which debuted #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is currently nominated for two Grammy Awards.

The fourth studio album and Bad Bunny’s third album in 2020 debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, making it the first entirely Spanish-language album to hit No. 1.

Recently, Bad Bunny performed at the WWE, a childhood dream that became a reality after releasing his album. In one of the songs, the global superstar says he is “a king, champion, Booker T,” referring to professional wrestler Robert Booker Tio Huffman, better known by his ring name Booker T.

The 26-year-old Almirante Sur native appeared during WWE’s most significant events: The Royal Rumble. “Performing at the Royal Rumble is a childhood dream come true,” the singer told Billboard. “I have been a lifelong fan of WWE, and I am excited to take the stage and entertain fans around the world.”

After his performance, Bad Bunny joined wrestler Damian Priest to fight The Miz and John Morrison.

LA NOCHE DE ANOCHE

The unstoppable worldwide sensation, also known as “El Conejo Malo,” appeared in HOLA! USA December 2020 digital cover for “Urbano Latino Music: ‘A Decade of Global Success.’”

“I think the key figure for me is Bad Bunny. All eyes were on him because he was doing what a rapper is not supposed to do. He became that kid who did what he really wanted. If you give me the choice of the artist of the decade, it‘s Bad Bunny,” said “El Guru” from “La Formula Radio,” to us.

“It was not Marc Anthony. It was not Ricky Martin. It was not Juan Luis Guerra. It was an urban artist who reached number one on the Billboard 200 for the first time. I know it is different because there is streaming and platforms like Apple Music. The numbers are important and have made urbano Latino music, Bad Bunny, because platforms want to put him on,” he adds.

To watch Bad Bunny perform on “Saturday Night Live” tune to NBC this Saturday, February 20, at 11:30/10:30 p.m. central time.
