It’s really happening! A brand new season of  Sex and the City  is officially in the works, and who better to announce the big news than Carrie Bradshaw herself.

Sarah Jessica Parker took to her personal Instagram account to share the teaser with her fans and followers.

Including a series of clips of the streets of New York, while Carrie seems to be writing a new chapter of her life, starting with, “And just like that... The story continues...”

It was previously reported that this new season will only include Cynthia Nixon who portrays the iconic Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis who plays the unforgettable Charlotte York.

And although the reason for Kim Cattrall to be absent from the project is unknown, the actress had said before that she didn’t want to bring back Samantha Jones, even when Parker started teasing the highly-anticipated project a while ago.

The HBO Max show is set to be produced in New York later this year and will contain ten episodes, streamed exclusively on the popular platform, which seems to be including some great content.

Darren Star’s adaptation of Candace Bushnell’s book was so well received during the last decades, that it was followed by two movies in 2008 and 2010.

We can’t wait to see what the future brings for the three friends!
