Jennifer Lopez comes back to the big screen as the star of romantic comedies, this time alongside co-star Armie Hammer in Lionsgate’s production Shotgun Wedding.

The movie is set to include a lot of action elements, as the couple has reportedly shown a lot of chemistry being the main two characters for the film, as described by Erin Westerman, President of Production “Jennifer and Armie’s irresistible magnetism, separately and together, make them the perfect pairing for this action comedy.”

Jason Moore will be directing, also showing he is the perfect fit for this movie after being the director for Pitch Perfect starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson.

Both Armie and Jennifer have said to be “both incredibly funny actors that can also deliver on the action,” bringing “infectious chemistry” to the screen and making the storyline come alive, as it’s almost impossible to “take your eyes off them.”

The story for the movie follows Tom and Darcy, making their wedding arrangements while having to deal with their families opinions, however it is the plot twist that brings the action, when everyone gets caught up in a dangerous situation and all guests are taken as hostages.

Armie Hammer is enjoying the success of the recently released Netflix thriller Rebecca alongside Lily James, while Jeniffer Lopez is set to star in Marry Me, another exciting rom-com with Owen Wilson.
