UPDATED OCTOBER 14, 2020 6:39 AM EDT

Henry Carvill , age 37, is a British actor. Mainly known for his character Superman in the DC Extended Universe, as well as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix fantasy series The Witcher. In 2013, he starred in Man of Steel, and in 2018 in Mission Impossible – Fallout, and in 2020 he plays Sherlock Holmes in the Netflix film, Enola Holmes.

Henry Cavill has dropped several hints of how much he would like to be the new James Bond now that Daniel Craig has said goodbye to this role. He says that interpreting James Bond would be truly an honor for him and that he would love to do it. However, the actor affirms that everything is still very much in the air and nothing is certain, but if the producers were interested in him, he would take the opportunity in a heartbeat. In 2006, Cavill was very close to being the 007 agent, however Daniel Craig was finally chosen to interpret Casino Royal.

No Time to Die, which will be in cinemas in November 2020, is the official goodbye to Daniel Craig as our official 007 agent. This movie has been postponed numerous times due to the coronavirus pandemic, but hopefully we will be able to see it in November. Let’s see if Cavill has what it takes to be the next 007, and beat potential runner up Tom Hardy, known for his role in the British drama series Peaky Blinders.

In 2013, Cavill was named “World’s Sexiest Man” by the British magazine, Glamour. And, that same year, he was placed third on Empire magazine’s list of “The 100 Sexiest Movie Stars 2013”.

He is a very intriguing actor for his fans

Despite having more than 13 million followers and almost two decades of career, Cavill is a very mysterious actor for his fans. He lives with his dog and his horses, and he cooks, paints, and repairs computers. Not many details are known about the actors love life, except that he dated Tara King for a year.

He fits the role well

It is difficult to deny that with those glasses and dressed in all black, he fits the role of 007 agent very well. Henry Cavill has been considered one of the sexiest men in recent times, something he shares with all the actors who have been signed to play James Bond. He is also only one year older than Daniel Craig when he was selected for Casino Royale.

He has a very British style

In order to play the role of James Bond, you have to have the characteristic British style. From perfectly polished suits to leather oxford shoes, with a matching bag. What’s in the bag? Could it be his gym clothes or his tools as a spy?

Celebrity Sighting in LA

Henry Cavill is seen at “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in July 2018 rocking the light color suit action. His look in light color suits, like Daniel Craig did in the trailer of No Time to Die, makes it even more clear how Cavill would certainly rock the part of the famous 007 agent James Bond.

He is in very good physical shape

Although the style of the well-known agent is more elegant and less of physical combat, Henry Cavill is in good shape and has knowledge about different types of fighting, he also likes to do his own risk shots.

He has already interpreted a British icon, Sherlock Holmes

Seeing him in the role of James Bond would be an honor for him as an Englishman, but it would also not be his first great moment on the big screen giving life to a character known for being British, Sherlock Holmes.

He was already part of the favorites in 2006 when they finally chose Daniel Craig

The producers chose to bet on someone older to give the character a twist, but given their success, it would not be strange if they wanted to repeat with the same age group that already triumphed 15 years ago.
