First Lady Melania Trump sure looked hoppy with the Easter Bunny she chose! The day after the 2025 White House Easter Egg Roll, a behind-the-scenes photo was released, showing the first lady smiling as she sat next to the Easter Bunny on a couch in the White House's Blue Room. The White House captioned the image: "A behind-the-scenes moment from yesterday: the Blue Room, the Bunny, and the First Lady—ready to roll 🐰 @FLOTUS."

The charming photo was taken before the first lady and President Donald Trump walked out onto the Blue Room Balcony.

Two days before the Easter Egg Roll, Fairytale Entertainment announced that their beloved Peter Rabbit was going to be the official bunny for this year's event. "To ensure our Rabbit’s look matched the significance of the event, Fairytale Entertainment worked in close collaboration with the White House planning team to design a custom, high-end coat, giving Peter Rabbit a fresh and polished appearance for this unforgettable day," the character entertainment company shared in a blog post. "Being chosen by Melania Trump to bring this beloved character to life is an immense privilege."

HOLA! USA has learned that the White House has received a lot of positive feedback on this year's bunny. A spokesperson for the first lady tells HOLA! USA, "The First Lady and her staff worked hard to give children and families the best experience and fondest memories through a beautiful and fun Easter Egg Roll."

Monday marked the 147th White House Easter Egg Roll—a tradition that began in 1878 with President Rutherford B. Hayes. Activities at the event on April 21 included A Be Best military card writing station, Be Best hopscotch and reading nook, where the first lady and other readers read to children.

Before joining in on the festivities, President Donald Trump praised his wife for her hard work on the 2025 Easter Egg Roll. "I just want to give a special thank you to our great first lady, who organized this entire event," the president said. "She worked very, very hard on it. She worked very hard. I said, 'What are you doing?' She said, 'I'm working on the Egg Roll." I said, 'That sounds like a lot of fun,' and we're going to have a lot of fun in just a couple of minutes."
