Ben Affleck’s latest red carpet moment was a family affair. Despite finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez recently, the actor maintains a good relationship with his ex-wife and her kids, as he proved at the premiere of his highly anticipated movie 'The Accountant 2.'
The star walked the red carpet and talked to reporters, revealing that he has deep love and appreciation for his blended family, with his kids becoming very close to JLo's kids over the years.
“It’s a great night. The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight. He also shared his excitement for the project. “I’m proud of the movie, I love the movie and I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun, it’s exciting.”
The actor shares kids Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel with his ex Jennifer Garner, while JLo co-parents Emme and Max with her former husband Marc Anthony. The families continue to have a close relationship despite the controversial divorce last year.
“For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” Ben said at the premiere. “I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.”
He went on to comment on the joy of blending their families. “I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me. The relationships that you can have with children like that, it’s the joy of my life. And those kids are amazing, and I’m glad that this is a movie they want to come to," he added.
