Childhood homes usually hold a special place in people's hearts. One of the most famous celebrity homes is the mansion where the Kardashians lived and filmed their famous reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kris Jenner is selling the mansion, and this week, Kendall and Kylie Jenner went to say goodbye.
On Thursday, Kylie shared photos and videos of their emotional goodbye, and anyone who watches the show will recognize it. The sisters took a final walk through the iconic Hidden Hills estate before someone else called the mansion home.
She had a moment to say goodbye to her old black-and-white bathroom, in which she had spent countless hours getting ready. “Saying goodbye to my bathroom growing up,” she said. She also showed off Kendall’s, adding, “This was Kendall’s bathroom. The complete opposite.”
One of the famous parts of the house is the winding staircase. “So many beautiful memories,” she wrote. It’s a special place for the entire family. Kris and Caitlyn Jenner raised Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie there.
The 69-year-old momager listed the 8,860-square-foot home for $13.5 million. As noted by Daily Mail, she originally bought it in 2010 for $4 million and poured millions into renovations over the years.
The six-bedroom home has a bathroom in every room, a primary suite with a steam shower, a private gym, and a balcony. Outside, there’s a beautiful pool with a waterfall, a whirlpool, a full outdoor kitchen and dining, and a fireplace.
Kris revealed she was taking the house out of the family trust and putting it on the mark with The New York Times in February, “I’ve shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I’m excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners,” she told the outlet.
