Ryan Gosling is showing off a new look. The beloved actor was spotted on a walk in Santa Barbara, wearing a cool outfit that allowed him to blend into his surroundings and a new beard.

Paparazzi captured Gosling's new mustache as he stopped by to chat with someone. For the outing, Gosling wore sunglasses and a white cap, trying to prevent people from recognizing him.

He wore a red shirt paired with a flannel, which he rounded out with some dark wash jeans and some white and red Nike sneakers.

Gosling's mustache makes him the latest Hollywood star to adopt the controversial beard style, following in the footsteps of celebrities like Brad Pitt, Colman Domingo, Henry Cavill, and more.

Ryan Gosling's exciting new movie

Last week, Gosling attended CinemaCon to present his new film, "Project Hail Mary." Gosling presented the film's first trailer, setting the stage for a story of a high school teacher who wakes up in space with no memory of how he got there.

There to make things easier for him is an alien, who claims they traveled through time to help him and save the Earth from a global catastrophe. It's exciting stuff.

The project has been one of the most discussed parts of CinemaCon, and clearly one that excites Gosling. "He goes on such a journey as you can see, and this is why you go to the movies. I’m not just saying it because I’m in it, because I’m a producer on it as well," he said at the con, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

"Project Hail Mary" marks Gosling's second time playing an astronaut following his starring role in "First Man," which resulted in an Academy Award nomination. The film is scheduled for release on March 2026.
