Kelly Ripa is her son's biggest fan. Michael Consuelos, the eldest child of Kelly and Mark Consuelos, has shared an update on his life, embracing a bold change. In a new post on Instagram, Michael shared a look at his life, prompting a sweet comment from his mother.
Michael's most recent post was made up of three photos, showing him in different locations. All of them show him with brown slicked back hair, with the last image showing a shorter hairstyle. The images feature Michael on his phone, working on his computer, and looking very focused.
They also showcase his creative personality, which isn't afraid to try new looks, with the second image showing Michael with a mustache. "Most dopest," wrote Kelly in the comments.
It's another instance of Michael's daring approach to his styling, with him dying his hair blonde in 2018, where he was photographed accompanying his mother at the Broadway show "Kinky Boots."
"Beginning, middle, end (of season)," Michael captioned the post, appearing to reference his work, which is related to the entertainment industry. Michael graduated from New York University with a degree in film, and has worked in different productions over the past, including "Real Housewives of New York."
Michael's future in the entertainment industry
Out of Kelly and Mark's three kids, Michael is the one who resembles his father the most. He has two younger siblings, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 22.
He's followed in his parents' footsteps, pursuing a career in entertainment nad having his big break on the TV show "Riverdale," where he played a younger version of of Hiram Lodge, the character played by his father. "Working on Riverdale was a bucket list moment for me," said Michael to PEOPLE in 2021.
Michael went on to praise the cast and crew and to share what it felt like to act with his dad.
Acting opposite my dad was such a surreal experience, but we both had the best time and I really enjoyed getting to walk around in Hiram's shoes."
