Matt Damon was recently spotted in a tender, emotional moment with his daughters while on a break from filming 'The Odyssey' in Italy. The actor, who is currently working on the highly anticipated Christopher Nolan film, took some time out of his busy schedule to connect with his family and walk around on the picturesque island of Favignana, off the coast of Sicily.

Dressed casually in a comfortable outfit, the actor was photographed walking with his daughters as they made their way to grab lunch. The star embraced them in a sweet and heartwarming moment, having an emotional moment while talking to them.

Matt Damon's family life:

The Hollywood star is a father to Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella. Matt has a big family with his wife Luciana Barroso, and while the couple prefer to keep their personal life private, they have previously shared a glimpse at their strong bond.

"It was very different, it's true," the actor said to Parade about his parenting journey, "but I can't imagine my life having not gone down that road. I can't imagine what my life would be now. I don't want to imagine it."

Matt became a stepfather to Alexia when he met Luciana, and the pair welcomed their three daughters after marrying in 2005. "I jumped into the deep end with Lucy. I mean, Alexia was already 4. I was an extra dad," he said to the publication.

The actor marked his love for their four daughters with a meaningful tattoo, next to his 'Lucy' design in tribute to his wife. "On a whim, my wife said, 'We're going to get tattoos today,' so I got a tattoo of her name," Matt told Access Hollywood of his ink. "And it always felt alone on my arm, and I've always wanted to put the kids on there."
