Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa are still serving up major couple goals, and their recent birthday exchange is proof. Consuelos celebrated his 54th birthday on Sunday, March 30, and they continue to prove that just because you get older, the magic doesn't have to die.
Ripa took to Instagram on his special day to share the love, calling him her “favorite golfer” and posting a video of him showing off his swing on the course alongside a sunny photo of the two looking adorable together. “Let’s wish a happy birthday to my favorite golfer @instasuelos. Long may he stump us," she wrote in the caption.
In classic Consuelos fashion, the actor couldn’t resist keeping the flirtation alive in the comments, replying with a simple but oh-so-steamy “Thank you sexy.”
He had a similar dedication post for her 54th birthday in October. "Happy Birthday, Sexy! I'm so glad you were born," he wrote in a photo montage featuring Madonna's "I'm Addicted."
Kelly and Ripa's everlasting love story
The couple’s love story goes way back to 1995 when they first met on the set of All My Children. For Ripa, none of this would be possible without the show. “All My Children is responsible for my entire life. I don’t say that lightly. I met my husband on All My Children. I had my children on All My Children,” Ripa said in 2021.
They made things official in May 1996 when they tied the knot in a Las Vegas elopement at the Chapel of the Bells. They’ve since become one of Hollywood’s strongest couples, balancing their careers with raising their two kids: Lola and Joaquin.
In 2024, they both opened up about their unconventional wedding, which cost them $179, including airfare. “It was really romantic, though. It was very sweet,” Ripa revealed in 2024. “We cherish those memories, still to this day. It’s been 28 years, and we still can remember every minute of that wedding. And I mean, it was really minutes. It was like two minutes!”
But while they’ve kept their bond rock-solid, their kids aren't always thrilled about their parents’ public displays of affection. The parents have joked that their kids are often so embarrassed by their “cringe-worthy” moments.
The Live with Kelly and Mark hosts have had a 30-year love story, and their adorable interactions on Instagram are proof that keeping things fun and sexy in your marriage is important.
