Enrique Iglesias is enjoying the experience of being a father. After taking a step back from music, Iglesias has settled in his life in Miami, where he lives alongside his longtime partner Anna Kournikova and their three kids: twins Lucy and Nicholas, 7, and Mary, 5. Last week, photographers captured a moment in their daily routine, showing Iglesias and Kournikova enjoying a day on a yacht, with him and his son bonding over a peaceful hobby.
Iglesias and Nicholas were spotted fishing together. Photographers captured Iglesias wearing a comfortable outfit made out of grey sweatpants, a sweater, and his reliable cap, as he instructed his son on how to best cast a line.
Nicholas was photographed wearing blue shirts and a matching t-shirt, as he observed his dad and what he was doing.
The images were captured on their home's pier, with Iglesias explaining each step in the fishing process thoroughly. Nicholas was captured trying his best, imitating his father's work and fishing on his own. At one point, Nicholas adorably hugged his father from behind.
Earlier on that day, Nicholas and Iglesias were photographed inside their yacht with Kournikova, who wore a black bathing suit and matching sunglasses. As the three walked around the yacht, Nicholas was spotted wearing a blue life vest, with his parents ensuring his safety at all times.
2025 is going to be a big year for Enrique Iglesias
Iglesias is preparing for a year with a lot of work and personal milestones. In May, he'll be celebrating his 50th birthday, an important date for any person. He's also returning to Spanish stages in the summer, performing at the Granca Live Fest in the Canary Islands.
Iglesias will be the festival's closing act on Sunday, July 5th, with previous acts including Rawayana, Emilia, Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso, and more. Iglesias' performance is likely a celebration of his 30-year musical career. It'll likely prove to be an emotional experience for Iglesias, who hasn't performed in Spain since 2019 when he performed at the Wizink Center in Madrid.
