Joe Rogan has made waves once again, this time weighing in on the ongoing legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the outspoken podcast host shared his thoughts on the matter, making a bold statement about how the couple is perceived in Hollywood.
Rogan didn’t hold back, suggesting that the couple’s actions in the legal battle were a misstep, and even went as far as to say, “Everyone is scared of them.” The remarks come after months of speculation about the legal entanglement involving Baldoni and the famous duo.
While the case is still ongoing, Rogan offered his perspective on the power dynamics while describing Baldoni as a “sweet, nice guy." He continued, “They were trying to take over the movie and the franchise,” the host said, adding, “The whole thing is crazy."
"[Baldoni] is suing The New York Times. He has a great case there, too… She told him to come into the dressing room while she was breastfeeding and then part of her complaint was that he came into the dressing room while she was breastfeeding," he said on his podcast.
"They have text exchanges going back and forth. They just thought no one was going to come out with the receipts. Everyone is scared of them. Ryan and Blake are A-list," Rogan added.
“Ryan’s trying to get out of it now. He’s trying to get out of the lawsuit. And they’re like, ‘You are a key part of this,’” Rogan said about the latest updates in the legal battle. This comes after Baldon countersued the celebrity couple for $400 million, with claims they attempted to “destroy” his reputation and career.
Lively and Reynolds moved to dismiss Baldoni’s lawsuit earlier this month, claiming that the lawsuit was “vengeful and rambling,” urging the court to “dismiss all claims against Ms. Lively with prejudice, deny leave to amend, and award Ms. Lively all relief sought,” including legal fees and damages for “reputational and emotional harm.”
