Jenna Ortega knows that high fashion sometimes comes with a high price. The actress and star of hits like "Wednesday" and the "Scream" franchise was featured on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," where she discussed her future projects, working with Lady Gaga, and the stunning glass dress she was wearing for the occasion.
Colbert praised Ortega for her dress, which was red, and featured a stunning and edgy design that boasted many jagged pieces. It also had a red rose on the breast. "It's made of glass," said Ortega.
"I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes there's like pieces of it that are poking my ass," she continued, prompting a laugh from the audience. "Every time I sit."
Colbert quipped that he'd have medical personnel on standby in case anything went wrong, but Ortega reassured him. "I feel uncomfortable, but extremely comfortable at the same time," she mused.
Ortega teases the upcoming season of 'Wednesday'
Ortega recently attended the SXSW festival, where she premiered her new film "Death of a Unicorn" and answered questions about her career. One of them involved Lady Gaga, who's featured in a cameo on the second season of "Wednesday."
"It's the best. She's the best, definitely one of the most talented individuals I've ever worked with," said Ortega.
"It was just a really, really special environment to be there with her and Tim [Burton], two people that I respect and have been inspired by so much."
Ortega revealed that while Gaga is known for her bombastic and dramatic persona, she's very reserved in real life. "Then just finding out that she's such a sweetheart and really kind and reserved, it's very strange," said Ortega. "I love that you never know what to expect from her, but you can always expect kindness and generosity."
