Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Vittoria breaks silence with rare comment about their relationship

Vittoria Ceretti and Leonardo DiCaprio have been dating for the past two years. While the pair have been photographed on trips, parties, and dates together, they maintain their relationship as private as possible, with neither of them addressing it with the media or through social media.

In a new interview, Ceretti has addressed her romance with DiCaprio. While she didn't mention him by name, the comments mark one of the first instances where she's discussed the challenges of dating such a famous person while also demonstrating the strength of their relationship. 

Ceretti is a seasoned Italian model, having been featured in over 400 different fashion shows despite being only 26 years old. She was featured on the cover of Vogue France, where she discussed her dating life and the fact that she was in a relationship with a "very, very famous actor."

"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of'—or 'boyfriend of,' for that matter," she said. 

"And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex. So it's not nice to think that you can't love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you."

When asked if it ever becomes normal for her to date someone under such a large media spotlight, she said, "It's something you learn. If what you're experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there's no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence."

The story also features some details about their relationship, including the fact that the two first met in Milan, and that she believes "Titanic" is "iconic." 

Through it all, Ceretti maintained her desire to keep her relationship as private as possible.
