Guess who's taken over Angelina Jolie's old New York City pad? One of her sons! In a recent chat with The New York Times, the Oscar-winning actress shared that the apartment she snagged in her 20s is now his domain. While she didn't spill which son it is, she did mention that the place doubles as a "crash pad" for all six of her kids.
Jolie, 49, co-parents Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16) with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Currently based in Los Angeles, she's holding down the fort until the twins hit 18. After that, she's eyeing a move to Cambodia.
Reflecting on her son's new living situation, Jolie recounted a humorous exchange: "The other day I said I was going to pop by, and he was like, 'Can you just give me a day to clean?'" she laughed, adding, "I thought, I appreciate that, you should clean up for your mother. But also, how bad is it?"
Beyond family updates, Jolie is making waves in the NYC art scene with Atelier Jolie. Angelina Jolie is making sure her son Pax is safe after second accident
After Pax Jolie-Pitt faced a series of frightening accidents, his mother was forced to step in with some strict new rules for his safety. After totaling his Tesla in May 2024 and suffering severe injuries in an e-bike crash in July 2024, Pax has caused concern within the family.
According to sources, the actress is requiring him to take "defensive" driving lessons and has made him sign a contract stating that he must wear a helmet while riding his e-bike. "She'd love it if Pax would take these accidents as a warning and give up on this need for speed, but that's very unlikely," an insider told InTouch.
"[Angelina] wants him to take some defensive driving lessons before he gets back out there, he's agreed to that as part of the consequences of the crash. And she's made him sign a contract promising he'll always wear his helmet," the source detailed.
They continued, "It's still going to give her anxiety every time he leaves the house on his bike, all she can do is hope that Pax is realizing how lucky he is to be alive with his brain intact and that he will act more responsibly on the road going forward."
