Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are sharing some funny family stories on their show, "Live with Kelly and Mark." The couple revealed they were on a trip to England and went shopping at some of the city's thrift stores with their youngest son, Joaquin. Things didn't go as expected, and Joaquin learned a few lessons for his future thrifting trips.
Ripa and Consuelos shared their story while chatting to Rita Ora, who's a native of London, specifically of the famous neighborhood Notting Hill. The area is known for its thrift stores, with Ora revealing that she's a bit of an expert on the subject.
The three noted that patience and haggling was key to a positive thrifting experience. "We went recently and our youngest son went to that area and came back with this really vintage bomber jacket," said Consuelos.
"It didn't even look vintage to me, it looked familiar to me," added Ripa.
Consuelos asked Joaquin if he'd negotiated for the jacket, prompting a confused response from his son. "No, are you supposed to negotiate?"
"He felt bad like he missed his opportunity!" concluded Ripa.

In a previous episode of their show, Ripa and Consuelos revealed that Lola had traveled home for the first time in nine months, returning changed.
"To me she looks like Lola, she sounds like Lola, but we had a bunch of friends come over, everybody came over to see Lola, and everybody said the same thing, 'You sound so British!'" said Ripa.
