Rachel Zegler is on the lookout for her own Hollywood sisterhood! The 'Snow White' star has become fast friends with some of the most fan-favorite faces in the entertainment business, including Ariana Grande, who recently enjoyed incredible success in 'Wicked.' However, the proud Latina says sisterhood is still difficult to find in the entertainment business.
In a recent interview for her March 2025 Allure cover story, the actress shared her thoughts on finding strong female friendships in the industry.
Despite the competitive nature of Hollywood, Rachel believes women shouldn’t see each other as rivals. While “in search of female friendship” in the industry, she said that “there is room for all of us no matter what anybody else will have you think.”
“I really do believe in championing your friends and co-workers,” she said amid her rumored feud with her co-star Gal Gadot. “So the second there’s any intimidation or competition, just put on ‘Girl, So Confusing’ by Charli XCX and talk it out.”
“All I’m ever really looking for in this business is a sister, and they’re not always easy to find,” she openly admitted during her interview. “We’re often told that other women have to be your competition, and I don’t subscribe to that.”
The star's recent remarks come after her latest Disney movie has been the subject of speculation regarding rumored tension between the two co-stars. A source told People that the two “have nothing in common,” with political differences playing a significant role in their distance.
“Gal is annoyed by the movie drama,” a second source told the magazine. “She enjoyed filming. She was fine with Rachel, but they are not friends. They have nothing in common. … They did a job together, and that’s it.”
Rachel's friendship with Ariana Grande:
Ariana Grande recently reached out to offer her support ahead of the release of the live-action. “She reached out to me—kind of out of the blue—and just said, ‘If you need anything, I’m here,’” Rachel shared with Allure.
The actress described Ariana's message as “so deeply kind" and talked about her admiration for her personal and professional life. “She’s been through so much in the public eye, and I’ve always admired her courage in the face of it all,” Rachel said.
