Shawn Mendes has arrived in Buenos Aires! The singer and songwriter will be performing at "Lollapalooza" over the weekend, where he is one of the show's headliners alongside Tool, Justin Timberlake, Olivia Rodrigo, Rufus de Sol, and more.
Mendes will be performing on Saturday and seems to have arrived early in Buenos Aires, hoping to enjoy the city before his performance.
He was approached by his fans at the Hotel Faena of Puerto Madero, where he's staying. He wore cargo pants and a grey tank top, showing off his arm tattoos.
Mendes wore a crossbody bag and held his hair back with a headband. Photographers captured Mendes waving at his fans and stopping close to them to take photos with them.
His demeanor was warm, smiling at his fans and taking photos with them with his arms wrapped around them.
Mendes' days in Argentina
According to the Argentinean newspaper La Nacion, Mendes has been enjoying his vacation in the city, going on walks in some of the most popular places in Buenos Aires and eating barbecue.
Mendes was photographed in San Telmo, where he smiled and took photos with fans as he browsed through the artisan market and purchased a yellow pashmina. He stopped by the restaurant "La Brigada," one of the most popular barbecue spots in the capital city.
Earlier today, he shared a video on his Instagram stories of the Argentinean flag waving in the wind. He added the song "Gracias a la vida," by Mercedes Sosa, a local icon, prompting excited comments from Argentinean fans who believe that Mendes is a fan of the city, and has been thoroughly enjoying his stay.
Following his performance on Saturday, Mendes will be traveling to Chile, where he's performing at their "Lollapalooza," and later on, to Colombia and Brazil, where he's a headliner at some of the countries' biggest festivals. Mendes has performances scheduled through August, where he's performing in Denmark.
